Hi, I'm Shubhi Mohta — an illustrator and surface pattern designer inspired by everyday moments, meaningful stories, and the natural world. After almost a decade in tech, I followed a quiet calling toward creativity and built a life around what I love most: drawing.

I create heartfelt artwork that celebrates connection, joy, and curiosity — whether it's a tiny scribble in my sketchbook, a whimsical pattern inspired by my garden, or a hand-drawn print that ends up on someone's wall or wardrobe. My creative journey began with a simple desire: to reconnect with what lights me up inside.

Originally from India, I now live in Chicago with my husband and our little daughter. I work from my cozy home studio — often with a warm cup of chai and my daughter playing nearby. My days are filled with drawing, designing, and dreaming up new ways to share my work with the world — through art prints, fabric designs, workshops, and thoughtful products.

I believe art has the power to slow us down and remind us of what matters. Through my work, I hope to spark a moment of delight, reflection, or even just a quiet smile.
